Hello !!!

I am your host, Luis Alberto Ruiz Jr., hailing from the vibrant Mexico City and now proud to call Houston, Texas, my home.

From a very young age I accepted part of what my destiny is, and that is my passion for the sport that has been an integral part of walking in this world and my life.

One of my proudest moments was stepping into the spotlight of a television studio, where I had the privilege of interviewing Ambassadors and Diplomats, opinion leaders, outstanding academics and celebrated athletes. My journey into the world of media began at the age of 7, when I became involved with WPTV, a student community-driven platform where I honed my communication skills for seven extraordinary years, eventually taking on the role of studio manager. Not bad, right?

At just 13 years old, I had the incredible opportunity to cover the prestigious 2021 Houston Sports Awards alongside other commentators from networks such as ESPN, USA TODAY, ABC and FOX Sports.
Interviewing legends such as Carl Lewis, Cavan Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Calvin Murphy among others, further ignited my passion for sports journalism and made me further exercise my commitment to this passion.

Later seeking to overpass my horizons, I embarked on educational initiatives at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and Georgetown University, completing courses in media and marketing at the ages of 12 and 15, respectively.

Furthermore, lately and with the times being so clever and fast, I am already developing my own podcasts,

Series in 5! : Where I analyze the best of the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS and Liga MX, NHL, and FIFA major tournaments. I have established myself as a dynamic sports commentator with multilingual command in Spanish, French, English, Italian and German.

Highlights of my still young career include coverage of prestigious events such as the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Leagues Cup, Champions Cup, FIFA World Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, Nations League, CONMEBOL Copa America , UEFA Euro, CONCACAF Gold Cup, major CAF and AFC tournaments at national team and club level. It feels great to follow your intuition!

I have also immersed myself in the excitement of the MLS, Liga MX, La Liga and Premier League seasons and finals, NBA Finals, Super Bowls, NHL Finals and the MLB World Series.

Currently, at 16 years old I am collaborating on a short film with the Belgian embassy and UNICEF and at 16 years old I have undertaken as executive director of an exciting film project together with the creator of a documentary series about the most exceptional athletes in the world, a testimony of my unwavering commitment to storytelling in the realm of sports.

As I continue to travel the captivating world of sports journalism, I remain dedicated to bringing you insightful coverage and in-depth analysis, one episode at a time.

This is a little bit about me, I know it seems fast and quiet a lot but it is my love for sports, it is driven by the accelerator of this passion of mine.
